Founded in 2015 Heather Watson (a UK based specialist Physiotherapist by profession) , Designed2Move started out providing bespoke functional rehabilitation programmes for clients who have been seriously injured, where "standard" care was insufficient in enabling people to really return to the sorts of lives they wanted to live - whether that was family, leisure or work aspirations.  ("Functional" programmes being focused on the physical needs of the client to return to the desired function or task - what the person want to do and where they want to do it!) 

With Heather's leadership, Designed2Move has become a market leader for specialist functional rehabilitation in the personal injury arena in the UK. 

2020 brings the introduction of our new high touch remote rehabilitation service "RECOVER: Health Recovery Coaching" - an entirely remote service, delivered by D2M's specialist team  via video or telephone call. The programmes are suitable for a wide variety of clients - those who are recovering from injury or illness, but also those who simply want to evaluate their health and  lifestyle and maximise their own potential for work and play.

With the current Coronavirus Crisis, D2M have been ideally placed to bring our existing services to a wider audience in need of support when many other health care providers have closed their doors. 

Heather has 25 years of experience in healthcare, being well known for particular expertise in health & work, and now also for her innovative approach to business, and draws on a wealth of personal experience to also offer health, career and business mentoring for registered health professionals.
